The Nutritional Foods Group of Vietnam (NFG) is composed of Abbott, Danone, Fonterra, FrieslandCampina, Mead Johnson Nutrition, and Nestle to promote responsible business practices and ethics among its members. They also coordinate the industry’s approach to combating the issues surrounding inadequate infant nutrition. NFG helps to promote and improve the nutrition and well-being of Vietnamese children by providing nutritious and safe food products that meet the highest standards of food safety and quality. The NFG also supports multi-sectoral efforts to improve infant nutrition, in line with the Vietnamese Government and its agencies, health professionals and the medical establishment, international and local non-governmental organizations, and the general public. In addition to the positive health impacts of our products and nutritional education and awareness-building efforts, NFG members make a significant contribution to Vietnam through investment, employment and training of staff, transfer of international industry know-how and best practices, and numerous CSR and philanthropic initiatives.
